The WNBA's Seattle Storm and Redmond, Wash.-based Microsoft Corp.'s search engine announced Wednesday they had signed a multiyear partnership that will put the Bing logo front and center on Storm game jerseys beginning this season.

The Storm is the third WNBA team to have a primary corporate sponsor on its jerseys.

The Phoenix Mercury have a deal with LifeLock and the Los Angeles Sparks have one with Farmers Insurance.

Storm CEO Karen Bryant and Bing general manager Danielle Tiedt declined to specify how lucrative the deal is, but Bryant said in a telephone interview that it is the richest financial partnership in the team's 11-year history.

The NFL's Seattle Seahawks have the Bing logo on the front of their practice jerseys.
