The WNBA's Seattle Storm have reached an agreement with Seattle Pacific University for a new practice facility.

The Storm and SPU announced Monday they had a five-year agreement to share Royal Brougham Pavilion.

Seattle Pacific athletic director Erin O'Connell says the partnership is a "unique opportunity for educational and professional development" for students and faculty.

The agreement calls for a new, professional length court to be installed at the lower level of pavilion across from SPU's campus in northwest Seattle

Storm Chairperson Dawn Trudeau likes that the pavilion "is literally down the road" from KeyArena.

The WNBA team was forced from its practice facility near the Seattle Center after the city sold the land.
