Seahawks confirm releases and replacements

The Seahawks have confirmed the releases of safety Jordan Babineaux, fullback Owen Schmitt and defensive tackle Kevin Vickerson. Replacing them on the roster are defensive end Raheem Brock, running back Michael Robinson and defensive tackle Junior Siavii.
ESPN's Adam Schefter is also reporting that running back Julius Jones has restructured his contract with the team and remains on the roster for now. The team has yet to issue a statement on the matter.
DE Brock was originally drafted 238th overall by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2002 NFL Draft before signing that year with the Indianapolis Colts and playing eight straight seasons with the team. Brock was then signed by the Tennessee Titans this August and released on September 4th. Throughout his career, he has started 104 of 120 career games, with 396 tackles (313 solo) and 28.5 sacks.
RB Robinson, a college quarterback out of Penn State, was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers with the 100th overall pick in the 2006 draft. Once in the NFL, he transitioned to running back and special teams, having logged 79 ST tackles in 62 career game played. For his accomplishments, Robinson was named an alternate for the Pro Bowl in the last two seasons. In addition, Robinson has rushed 86 times for 289 yard and posted two touchdowns in his career.
DT Siavii was selected 36th overall in the 2004 NFL Draft by the Kansas City Chiefs where he played 26 games for the team. Siavii left football for two years and then signed with the Dallas Cowboys in 2009. He played all 16 games last season, recording a career-high 29 tackles, 12 of which were solo.
