I listened to your piece on NJ lowering the flags for WH. I don't feel it is appropriate and here's why: Just as a society needs to recognize & value relationships which produce new members for that society (not marriage I see) then so do we need to find some special way to honor those who willingly put their bodies and their lives between danger and the rest of us. It has been lowering of flags but I suppose it doesn't have to be. I don't see anything else on the horizon though. I might add that we also recently lost Etta James. On the scale that measures lives touched in a positive way I don't believe WH is in the same league as EJ. Why no recognition at Emmy's or talk radio? Charles
